To be successful, you should have:
- 10+ years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist capacity, with related education, training, or equivalent work experience.
- Solid knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, employee benefits, and HR compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in recruiting, onboarding, HR documentation, employee engagement, and performance support.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus; ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Your responsibilities as the Director of Human Resources will include:
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Lead full-cycle recruitment, manage job postings, coordinate interviews, and oversee new hire orientation and onboarding processes.
- HR Administration: Manage the employee lifecycle, maintain accurate records, oversee benefits and payroll coordination, and administer employee engagement programs.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted resource for employee inquiries, support conflict resolution, and foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Benefits & Compliance: Administer benefits, support payroll accuracy, and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and internal HR policies.
- Performance & Development: Drive performance review cycles, support learning and development programs, and track training effectiveness to enhance employee growth and engagement.
