Business Analyst, End User Technologies

We are currently seeking a  Business Analyst, End User Technologies to join our team.  

Summary
Efficiently analyzes and generates effective usage and solutions of end user software (Microsoft OS, MS Office, MS SharePoint, MS Outlook, Apple OS, other software titles), hardware (desktops, laptops, terminals, tablets, Wi-Fi, printing/MFD, desk/soft telephones) and mobile technologies (iPhone, Android, MS Phone), and their associated processes in the fulfillment of business objectives. Partners with business units/individuals to ensure the most effective use of end user technologies and the application of those technologies towards their success.

Responsibilities
Under limited supervision and much decision-making:

  • Analyzes usage and generates efficient and effective solutions for end user software (Microsoft OS, MS Office, MS SharePoint, MS Outlook, Apple OS, other software titles), hardware (desktops, laptops, terminals, tablets, Wi-Fi, printing/MFD, desk/soft telephones) and mobile technologies (iPhone, Android, MS Phone), and their associated processes in the fulfillment of business objectives.
  • Provides expert advice on the viability of new or the efficient and effective use of existing end user technologies.
  • Acts as a business process expert and facilitates IT staff and business groups’ success in technology solutions delivery.
  • Supports Technology-Infrastructure & Services (TIS) in testing feasibility and reliability of applications, hardware and mobile technologies for entry into Insperity’s environment.
  • Participates in various projects intended to continually improve/upgrade the end user infrastructure, such as evaluation of new software and hardware required to meet a business need or to make a process more cost effective.
  • Develops standards, procedures, training, and supporting documentation for solution implementation.
  • Participates in cross-functional Innovative Technology Solutions (ITS) teams to maintain the departmental presence and service catalog on company intranet.
  • Coordinates with department/group management to assess training needs as pertains to end user technologies and applications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience) is required.
  • Three or more years of professional experience is required.
  • Possesses originality and ingenuity to manage assignments with some degree of complexity.
  • Possesses and applies the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of the business analysis field to the completion of moderately difficult assignments.
  • Is able to command control of a problem and organize resources and knowledge to attain solutions.
  • Creative with good analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills. Explores and experiments with new concepts and is able to effectively communicate innovative ideas.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms. Communicates tactfully and effectively, and maintains positive and effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment.
  • Possesses proven customer service skills.
  • Detail oriented and has good organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working with business application systems and possesses the aptitude to recognize how these work and are interconnected.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at all management levels. Ability to foster teamwork with IT staff through positive communications and possesses a strong desire to succeed as a team.
