Channel Program Manager

We are currently seeking a Channel Program Manager to join our team. 

SUMMARY
Supports the development and manages assigned channel programs to ensure that goals and objectives specified for the programs are accomplished in accordance with established priorities, time limitations, or other specifications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Under minimal supervision and moderate decision-making:

  • Supports the development and execution of channel program strategic plans to include the implementation, integration and partner program management of goals that align with corporate objectives, increases market share, achieves revenue targets and increases profitability of existing products and services.
  • Collaborates with internal product and marketing personnel in the development and management of channel partner promotions, programs and account activities.
  • Aids in the design and development of campaigns that will introduce channel program initiatives to generate leads and customers for all Insperity products and services.
  • Researches, creates and compiles lists of prospective channel partners based on information from business directories, industry research, trade shows, internet web sites, and other sources. Responsible for the implementation and onboard of new corporate originated channel partners.
  • Coordinates channel partner training design and implementation with stakeholders.
  • Establishes, prepares and maintains channel program reporting to include forecasted sales and revenue goals, actual results, and partner trend reports for presentation to management.
  • Tracks effectiveness of channel marketing programs, and recommends pricing, promotions and programs to meet sell through and return on investment goals.
  • Works with internal constituents to track program activities establish reporting to analyze and measure metrics from channel program relationships activities and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Investigates and resolves channel partner issues.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with other departments to facilitate and accomplish team goals.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required.
  • Five years of experience in direct and digital marketing, channel program development and sales is required.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

  • Project management experience including the ability to plan, organize, schedule and coordinate development activity with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to manage a pipeline with multiple accounts and partners.
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Proven success in project management methods related to the implementation of programs.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate assigned programs related to marketing activities and implementation processes.
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft OfficeTM and other appropriate software for tracking and managing partner details, activities and timelines.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Communicates tactfully and effectively, verbally and in writing, and maintains effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment, familiar with modern office methods, practices procedures and equipment.
