Community Investment Coordinator – Part-time

20 hours a week

As the Community Investment Coordinator, you will work closely with the VP CSI and Community Investment Manager to support the Foundation’s strategic initiatives.  In this role, the Community Investment Coordinator is responsible for the Nonprofit-Search database and relationship management with Central Florida nonprofits. Additionally, this position will support the initiatives of the CSI team, including giving circles, grant and scholarship processes, and other administrative tasks.

To be successful, you should have:

  • A sense of curiosity, the ability to solve problems, and strong customer service skills.
  • Experience in a nonprofit setting as an employee or volunteer.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skilled in MSOffice (Word/Excel/Outlook/Teams) 
  • Knowledge of Foundant products is a plus.

Your responsibilities as the Community Investment Coordinator:

  • Update and maintain the Nonprofit Search portal. Maintain positive relationships with area nonprofits. Ensure grantees comply with Reviewed profiles and help reinforce the requirement that grant outcomes are reflected in the profile.

·       Support the management of grant rounds, including assisting with the staffing of committees, coordinating portfolio assignments, and scheduling site visits or meetings with potential grantees.

  • Work with the Community Investment Manager (CIM) to administer grants, including due diligence for recipient organizations, data entry, budget oversight, and communication with grantees.

·       Provide necessary information to Marketing and Communications Manager to support efforts to promote awarded grants.

·       Champion the Thrive framework and staff workgroups as needed.

  • Occasionally, attend community-based meetings representing the Foundation.
  • Provide accounting with on-time reporting and grant/scholarship paperwork.
  • Drive continuous process improvement across all areas of the job role.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
