Our client is is an industry-leading professional services firm located in Atlanta, Georgia specializing in Health and Welfare Benefit Plans. Our system of preparing Wrap Plan Documents, SPD Wrappers, and Form 5500s is based on industry best practices. Our compliance team provides guidance to employers and insurance brokers on issues related to ERISA compliance and Department of Labor disclosure and reporting requirements.

Our client is seeking a full-time , entry-level specialist for their Health & Welfare Operations team. As the Compliance Specialist, you will work with either the Consultative or Financial Services groups to assist in preparing employer Health & Welfare benefit plans or Department of Labor filings.

To be successful, you should have:        
• Outstanding academic credentials
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Computer experience with online web-based applications required. (Online Office 365;Citrix Sharefile; Salesforce; Adobe Pro; Conga)
• Ability to multi-task and apply critical thinking
• Outstanding customer service skills and strong verbal & written communication skills
• Flexible and willing to take on various assignments and responsibilities
• Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner and eager to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented and ready to make a positive impact
• Experience with Salesforce CRM

Your responsibilities as the Compliance Specialist will include:        
• Assisting compliance team with preparation of wrap plan initial set-up and governmental filings and client communications
• Reviewing insurance documentation and inputting client data using web-based form 5500 platform
• Gathering, organizing, and storing client data managing project workflow
• Performing various administrative tasks
