Who We Are:
Canopy Innovations, a fast-growing language, and ed-tech company is dedicated to eliminating the language barrier in healthcare. Funded by NIH innovation research awards, the Canopy product suite includes CanopyLearn, the No. 1 medical Spanish training platform in the U.S., and other tools that empower healthcare providers to improve the quality of care for patients who are limited English proficient (LEP).  Canopy product suite capabilities include the ability to assess, train, test, and certify program participants.

Who You Are:
The Enterprise Sales Account Executive is accountable for leading the sales, business development, and implementation of Canopy E-learning platform, the #1 market leader for Medical Spanish eLearning. This position will be responsible for client acquisition and the expansion and growth of Canopy Learn across an assigned customer and prospective customer target list that will include Healthcare Systems and clinical facilities. This person will work closely with our marketing and product development team to foster the continued innovation of our products and expand our offerings into new healthcare segments.

What You’ll Do:

  • Achieve annual sales quota within assigned market
  • Accurate sales forecasting to align with budget projections
  • Assure effective communication between customers and internal teams
  • Secure new client relationships and grow market share
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to elevate brand recognition, lead generation
  • Assure effective management of timelines, resource dependencies, and related communication

Education and/or Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or liberal arts with a focus on language
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience selling e-learning, blended learning, and program development, with a preferred emphasis on medical education and/or healthcare SaaS products
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in the creation of successful new initiatives and products that meet or exceed organizational objectives related to customer satisfaction, growth, loyalty, and financial health
  • Prior record of meeting and exceeding sales quota that drives organizational growth
  • 5+ years’ experience selling into learning institutions

Skills Required

  • Strong sales and business development experience with a successful track record as an independent contributor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong facilitation skills and demonstrated negotiation skills
  • Experience with selling eLearning content or SaaS platform to Healthcare Systems and patient care settings
  • Knowledgeable across functional areas including tech, sales, customer support, finance, and marketing
  • Strategic thinker and problem solver with an analytical orientation
  • Strong team player with demonstrated ability to collaborate with team members
