Our client is seeking a  full-time Entry Level Manufacturing Assistant to take on a variety of laboratory procedures and processes of a technical nature. As the Manufacturing Assistant, you will be dealing with optical devices, specifically contact lenses. You will be handling/operating sensitive/precision equipment to analyze lens quality and verify lens parameters to ISO/FDA quality standards.

As an ideal candidate, you will not need any experience, but rather you must have an aptitude for learning both written and verbal instructions and high attention to detail. You must be someone ready to learn and grow within the company, as there is definite room for advancement. You must be well-trained to maintain safety conditions and will be passionate about doing work that propagates efficient production workflow. The goal is to optimize lab procedures and succeed in producing reliable and quality finished contact lens medical devices.

To be successful as a Manufacturing Assistant, you will utilize your skills and talents to perform the following:

• Assist Production Manager in all production processes/procedures
• Maintain all lab consumables
• Maintain/clean equipment and assist in maintaining laboratory supplies
• Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment,
• Be a team player – teamwork makes the dream work here!

*This is a fast paced production position and requires you to stand, kneel and bend throughout the 8 hour day.
