Human Resources Manager
Our client is a is a ‘Total Solutions Provider’ for companies active in the medical device and human tissue markets. Originally established in the Netherlands, the company opened its first office in the United States in 2004. They specialize in customized logistics, temperature-controlled storage, fulfillment, and transport management. In addition, they provide back-office services, such as multilingual customer service, order-to-cash services, and VAT management.
As the Human Resources Manager, you will organize and manage warehouse activities within a department, continuously improving the department’s results and implementing the human resources policy.
To be successful, you should have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • 5+ years of human resources management experience in a 3PL or Warehousing organization preferred.
  • Current human resources and/or compensation credentials or certification, such as PHR, SPHR, CP, CCP, SCP, or similar, highly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, delegating when appropriate.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with, or able to quickly learn, HRIS and talent management systems.
Your responsibilities as the HR Manager will include:
Organized operation
  • Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resources and talent strategy, particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  • Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements required policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization’s human resources compliance and strategy needs.
  • Provides support and guidance to HR Generalists, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute otherwise routine tasks in delicate circumstances, such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
  • Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers as required to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Administers, or oversees the administration of, human resources programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top tier talent.
  • Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  • Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices as required to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains current knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned reported data
  • Reporting deployment of people and resources
  • Managing and reporting temp to perm conversion and turn-over KPI’s
  • Compliant with regulations and procedures
  • Maintain quality by following organization procedures, attend training sessions and ensure follow up of Client specific requirements as per agreed procedures & instructions
  • Complying with and monitoring compliance with legal and corporate obligations and procedures
