Information Technology Recruiter 
We are currently seeking an Information Technology Recruiter to join our Corporate Talent Acquisition team.  This role is Remote for candidates located in Greater Houston, Texas, or in Greater Madison, Wisconsin. 

SUMMARY

Responsible for creating a “WOW” experience when leading interactions with external and internal customers by consistently exceeding expectations and demonstrating and delivering superior customer service.  Assists assigned clients with filling position vacancies through the creation and placement of customized job postings and advertisements, appropriate sourcing methods, screening techniques, and candidate interviews.  Works with clients to educate them on the range of recruiting products and services, and promotes the utilization of full recruiting services.  Educates clients on compliance issues associated with hiring, background checks, pre-employment drug testing, etc.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Under limited supervision and much decision-making:

  • Consults with clients to set clear process expectations, and determine personnel needs, job specifications, duties, qualifications, and skills in order to prepare and implement recruiting efforts.
  • Evaluates candidates” education, skills acquired from previous employers, licenses or certifications, personality fit and ability to work within the organization.  Recommends top talent to clients” hiring managers and obtains feedback after each interview. 
  • Provides insight to clients by developing a recruiting strategy including budget, efficient and effective sourcing methods, suggested advertising media, and secures approval from client.
  • Executes the recruiting strategy by developing the search strategy, and sourcing (including but not limited to job postings, advertisements, resume mining, database searching, etc.). Utilizes multiple, creative sourcing techniques to identify potential candidates.
  • Performs pre-employment activities including generation and screening of resumes, conducts phone and/or personal interviews, conducts reference checks to obtain skill, education and salary requirements, coordinates and schedules pre-employment skill testing and personal interviews with clients.
  • Prepares and places advertising for client positions including the establishment of media goals, objectives, and strategies for ad campaign and monitoring of advertising costs.
  • Mentors new hires and supports the onboarding process as a shadow partner.
  • Prepares and delivers formal presentations, in a clear, concise, and logical sequence at a level appropriate to the audience.
  • Analyzes competitive data, industry trends, and market conditions to educate clients and hiring managers as it relates to compensation and scarcity of workers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) is required.
  • Three to five years of related work experience is required.
  • Proven ability to lead Hiring Managers and internal teammates.
  • Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment with the ability to take on sourcing and/or full recruiting requests across all disciplines and industries and effectively manage a bench load up to 25+ requisitions at any given time with internal and external clients.
  • Experience handling a high volume of recruitment activities.
  • Customer service experience in a team environment.
  • Interaction with multiple internal and external business units.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective problem solving/decision making.
  • Project Management Skills: Experience in managing multiple projects.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs and demonstrated ability to learn other application programs as needed.
  • Ability to successfully lead a project from start to completion.
