Our client is a fast-paced, high-growth professional services firm that specializes in providing compliance solutions to employers through partnerships. They prepare a variety of plan documents through a suite of solutions designed to meet the range of benefits’ needs from those of large, complex employers to smaller groups with straight-forward plan designs. Their client solutions are often offered by their broker-partners to their highest valued clients, and their services are of the highest quality in the industry.
With existing and long-standing relationships with many of the top ten US Insurance Brokerage Firms, our client seeking a Junior Account Executive to join their sales team. This is an entry to a mid-level position where a qualified candidate would grow into a seasoned sales professional with the company. Our client’s hybrid work model includes both a professional office setting with the availability to work from home.
As an ideal candidate, you will have:
- A minimum of 1-2 years sales and/or account management experience in a business to business (B2B) environment, salary commensurate with this (see below).
- The ability to complete necessary sales-related administrative tasks.
- Knowledge of the employee benefits and or insurance brokerage market a plus but not required.
- A long-term view of their career and can commit to realizing their potential through ongoing training, coaching, and live client-facing contact.
- Interpersonal skills to work with a different team each day, build relationships and network.
- Must have high energy, good character and be a team player.
The following attributes and skills would also be necessary:
- Poses a strong telephone presence to conduct product demonstrations
- Good written and verbal communication skills for email correspondence
- Proven experience in any of the positions described above
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with Salesforce CRM a plus
