Manager, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Services
We are currently seeking a Manager, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Services to join our team
This position is responsible for managing the diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) services for the client service platform.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Under limited supervision and much decision-making:
• Manages all DE&I services to meet client requests for support, training and consultation.
• Develops and implements policies, processes and quality standards of business process management for operational disciplines that supports front-line service teams and their clients.
• Provides internal support to other departments and teams, such as Sales and Recruiting to support their understanding and awareness of Insperity’s DE&I services for clients.
• Partners with Sales and Marketing teams to organize and execute DE&I related presentations and prospect meetings.
• Develops initiatives that drive continued improvement to managed functions that are consistent with business strategy and responsive to client and field needs. Illuminates the value of functions performed through enhanced communications and results tracking to promote better understanding across the business. Builds and strengthens collaborative working relationships with other Insperity departments.
• Works closely with Legal and other compliance teams to stay abreast of upcoming and new legislation impacting DE&I services.
• Establishes quality standards and metrics for the DE&I operational function. Monitors and reports performance to director and other management team members as appropriate.
• Develops the technical and leadership skills of direct reports and overall team through demonstrated leadership, mentoring, development, planning and performance management.
• Manages to budget and staffing targets. Effectively allocates resources to meet demand.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assists in the accomplishment of Insperity Company goals.
• Helps other employees to accomplish Insperity Company goals.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned by department supervisor.
• Participates in the Disaster Recovery plan as required.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Seven or more years of experience in HR field, DE&I, performance consulting or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS
HR, performance improvement or diversity-related certification is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS
• Professional level of human resources outsourcing knowledge. Experience in large team management is required and knowledge of general quality practices and the PEO industry is desirable.
• Ability to interpret, analyze and apply company policies, objectives and procedures including developing, organizing and implementing new policies and processes, appropriately utilizing effective methods for dealing with human behavior situations and conflict in a variety of business circumstances.
• Ability to independently plan, organize, schedule, coordinate and make decisions and judgments relating to assigned projects and other responsibilities and the ability to analyze, interpret, review and edit information consistent with operational standards.
• Ability to utilize effective methods and techniques related to operations, project management, customer service and leadership requirements for public speaking, group presentation and written and oral communication.
• Ability to anticipate and avoid problems and to negotiate effectively.
• Ability to work independently in the absence of supervision and work effectively with a wide range of people.
• Ability to effectively recruit, supervise and motivate to attain positive performance from staff.
• Ability to assess operational, staffing and fiscal needs and to manage those resources.
As required by the California, Insperity provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in California. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of California only, the range of starting pay for this role is between $110,800 and $125,000.
