Manager, HCM Benefits Administration


We are currently seeking a Manager, HCM Benefits Administration to join our team.

This position is responsible for oversight of installation and maintenance of clients’ benefits administration functions and plans provided by corporate and business unit databases for Workforce Administration and other Insperity programs; guided by policy and focused on daily operations.


RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Supervises and coordinates the activities of the Workforce Acceleration Benefits implementation personnel.
  • Provides frequent input and support to department leadership.
  • Responds to escalated workflow questions or inquiries.
  • Maintains working knowledge of, and is responsible for system and data security measures necessary to achieve compliance with federal, state and company regulations and standards.
  • Partners with Sales, Payroll, Implementation and Service Teams (internal as well as third party) to ensure timely set up and updates to clients’ benefits administration services.
  • Works with Sales, Payroll, Implementation and Service Teams (internal as well as third party) and other organizations to create and/or maintain process/procedure/data integration for service delivery.
  • Monitors process to verify Implementation work product is timely, efficient and cost effectively.
  • Collaborates with software and other third-party vendors to ensure current knowledge of various processes and systems functionality and communicates changes to appropriate individuals and teams.
  • Evaluates Implementation Team training to ensure delivery of current training material in the most effective fashion.
  • Partners with other organizations to update and deliver staff trainings in a timely manner.
  • Works with carriers/vendors and other partners to monitor, evaluate and enhance client onboarding experience.
  • Coordinates with carriers, brokers and other partners to ensure clear data communication.
  • Initiates and maintains a productive working relationship with internal and external clients, carriers and vendors.
  • Acts as a database and third-party vendor expert who maintains a working knowledge of systems/functions related to the successful implementation of benefits administration.
  • Provides subject matter expertise to various internal and external organizations, as needed.
  • Stays informed of industry trends, and carrier submission processes related to client onboarding.
  • Gathers information, analyzes data trends, identifies issue root causes and makes recommendations to improve operating processes.
  • Partners, as needed, to create and distribute reporting related to the client onboarding process.
  • Coaches, trains, recruits and develop the Benefits Implementation personnel.
  • Participates in meetings and represents the benefits implementation function within and outside the organization.
  • Ensures the achievement of the company’s Workforce Acceleration service and revenue targets through client satisfaction and meeting deadlines.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field is desired.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in insurance or business field is required.
  • Experience in software and SaaS products is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to support the execution and deployment of sales, service and operational strategies, including the measurement of results.
  • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate multi-faceted projects, organize workflow under narrow time limitations. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret benefits plan documents.
  • Extensive knowledge and application of federal, state, and local laws and regulations as relates to insurance programs.
  • Able to establish working relationships and interact effectively with a wide range of people; work independently with limited direction; and maintain effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment.
  • Advanced proficiency in corporate and business unit databases and EDI files. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Acrobat document-sharing software, and Internet software.
  • Communicates tactfully and effectively, verbally and in writing, and maintains effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment.
