Our client is seeking a Market Research Analyst to design marketing research projects and analyzes results by performing the following duties:

  • Assists strategy team in development of market research objectives to help the organization meet its strategic goals.
  • Identify valuable market data that supports strategic and commercial interests of the business.
  • Aggregates, analyzes, and communicates such market data across appropriate business units.
  • Takes the initiative to analyze statistical techniques to look beyond the raw data to identify trends which may be important for the company’s future success.
  • Evaluate and recommend the latest research developments to develop new market research methods.
  • Establishes research method, such as survey, opinion poll, or questionnaire, and designs means for collecting data for each project.
  • Develops and assists in conducting surveys and focus groups to analyze customer purchasing patterns, preferences, and organization’s image and marketing
  • effectiveness.
  • Research market conditions and conducts feasibility studies to determine market demand for existing and new products or services.
  • Gathers, analyzes, and compares competitor data and pricing to that of organization.
  • Maintains market intelligence database and uses computer to examine, analyze, and compile statistical data.
  • Prepares reports, including charts and graphs, and presents recommendations for action plans to management.
  • All other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:        

  • Fifth year college or university program certificate; or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong skills use of Industry standard analysis software such as MSFT Excel including use of Pivot tables and statistical functionality.
