Director of Marketing

As the Director of Marketing, you will manage planned marketing programs by utilizing your skills and talent to successfully perform the following duties:

  • Develops and executes marketing programs to achieve stated objectives regarding revenue, profitability, and market shares.
  • Manage marketing budget.
  • Plans and oversees execution of promotional activities including print, electronic media, trade show, direct mail, point-of-purchase displays, and signage.
  • Negotiates contract terms with outside agencies and suppliers.
  • Manages development, production, and distribution promotional and collateral materials to support sales and marketing programs.
  • Analyzes marketing programs and adjusts strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness.
  • Plans and conducts market research to identify opportunities for increased sales.
  • Maintains customer database and approves the use of internal and external mailing list.
  • Reviews analysis of marketing surveys on current and new product concepts in order to recommend future product development.
  • Provides post-event reports, analysis, and regular status report on marketing programs.
  • Plans, promotes, and execute meetings and community and goodwill events.
  • Helps establish and maintain consistent corporate image throughout products lines, promotional materials, and events.
  • Travel to meet with vendors and distributors.
  • Employee will contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Performs other tasks and duties as directed by management and supervisory personnel.
  • Assist in maintaining the corporate quality system.

You should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience working in a related role
  • Experience in planning, developing, and implementing a marketing plan.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; the ability to exercise good judgement with a capacity to communication with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated track record of high performance teams and a strong team player.
  • Excellent phone personality, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working for an FDA manufacturing company preferred
  • ERP experience preferred
