Processing Coordinator

Responsibilities
Responsible for creating a “WOW” experience when leading interactions with external and internal customers by consistently exceeding expectations. Under limited supervision, with independent judgment and decision-making, ensures that the service is delivered for client base. As a result, this will provide value that positively impacts our clients’ businesses and results in retention and growth.  

New Order Distribution

  • Responsible for accurate input of all client requests into the Employment Screening system.
  • Delegates work assignments by assigning incoming orders to appropriate department in a timely manner.
  • Monitors incoming faxes; forwards fax to appropriate location. Responsible for uploading faxed releases and applications to website.
  • Responsible for pricing and submitting package orders to billing, as well as maintaining current, up-to-date package ordering options.
  • Responsible for purchase order assignment on website.
  • Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in all clients and peer interactions.
  • Safeguards the confidentiality of all information.
  • Proofs and verifies accuracy of own work.

Credentials Verification

  • Responsible for research for employment and education contact information, including but not limited to, the internet, internal database and stored data files.
  • Evaluates each request for missing information and validates the authenticity of all requests.  Researches the missing information with assistance from the applicant and customer service.
  • Maintains understanding and knowledge related to FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act) to handle questions, respond, or resolve escalated issues.
  • Safeguards the confidentiality of all information.
  • Proofs and verifies accuracy of own work.  

Court Records

  • Evaluates each request for missing information and validates the authenticity of all requests.  Researches the missing information with assistance from customer service.
  • Performs criminal background searches in a timely manner. 
  • Reviews and interprets results of court site to ensure completeness of order has been met, i.e. all special instructions adhered to and all pertinent identifiers obtained where possible.
  • Maintains understanding and knowledge related to FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act) to handle questions, respond, or resolve escalated issues.
  • Safeguards the confidentiality of all information.
  • Proofs and verifies accuracy of own work.

          AIS Department
 

  • Evaluate incoming orders for client eligibility for requested product (credit-bureau based products)
  • Responsible for ordering online reports, including credit reports.
  • Verifies documents received for accuracy and completeness.
  • Safeguards the confidentiality of all information.
  • Proofs and verifies accuracy of own work.

          MVR Department

  • Evaluates orders for DPPA requirements, determines method of processing accordingly.
  • Responsible for ordering MVR reports.
  • Verifies documents received for accuracy and completeness.
  • Safeguards the confidentiality of all information.
  • Proofs and verifies accuracy of own work.

Education/Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Knowledge of FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act) State and Federal regulations  
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs and demonstrates ability to learn other programs, applications as needed.  
  • Communicates tactfully and effectively, verbally and in writing, and maintains effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment, familiar with modern office methods, practices, procedures and equipment, as well as filing systems and business letter writing and competent in correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and arithmetic.
