As the Project Engineer Level II, you will be responsible for meeting a variety of technical needs for the clients. You will be required to follow a project plan, complete assigned tasks, manage other tasks within the plan to ensure completion and continuously update the client with all pertinent information. You will be primarily assigned larger and more complex projects, such as email migrations, server migrations, network design and setup.
To be successful, you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Information Technology and IT Security in a NOC environment working with a broad range of technologies or similar related experience.
  • Demonstrated advanced level of knowledge of networking and security principles and practices.
  • Experience with building servers.
  • Understanding of Firewall and IDS/IPS networking gear preferred.
  • Experience in the configuration and troubleshooting of IPSec VPN tunnels.

Your responsibilities as the Project Engineer, will include but not be limited to:

  • Review the design requirements of the project and organize, plan and lead the project design details in conjunction with the Lead Project Engineer.
  • Plan and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of any deliverables to the client for any projects you are assigned to.
  • Ensure all Project deliverables are prepared and issued in a timely manner.

Work with and provide guidance to the client where necessary.

  • Refine and adopt the company’s existing procedures and/or develop new procedures that are appropriate for the project supported.
  • Ensure that correct data and standards are used and adhered to.
  • Identify and document scope/design change for approval.
  • Attend regular project, design review and additional technical meetings with client.
  • Ensure that quality assurance procedures are adhered to and audits are arranged and carried out, in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
  • Participates in on-call rotation.

The salary range is 60-70K
