Property & Casualty Insurance Coordinator

We are currently seeking a Property & Casualty Insurance Coordinator to join our team.

This position is responsible for monitoring the receipt of General and Automobile Liability Insurance Certificates of Coverage, ensuring compliance with CSA requirements and that coverage is appropriate in the event of client claims.



Under moderate supervision and moderate decision-making:

·         Requests certificates of General and Automobile Liability from clients and insurance agents.

·         Verifies certificates meet requirements set forth in the CSA as well as the effective and termination dates of the coverage.

·         Ensures certificates are accurately and efficiently entered into third party tracking system.

·         Provides guidance to third party personnel and serves as a liaison between clients and tracking system.

·         Provides new client and termination reports to third party personnel on a regular basis.

·         Works directly with clients, client’s agents, and insurance carriers to respond to inquiries regarding requirements of the Automobile Liability and General Liability outlined in the CSA.

·         Works directly with Sales personnel to obtain compliant certificates for all new clients to set appropriate client expectations going forward.

·         Works closely with department management to request any necessary exemptions.

·         Prepares monthly reports on client compliance with CSA requirements.



·         Assists in the accomplishment of Insperity Company goals.

·         Helps other employees to accomplish Insperity Company goals.

·         Performs other duties as may be assigned by department supervisor.

·         Participates in the Disaster Recovery plan as required.


·         High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Associate’s Degree in related field is preferred.

·         Two to three years of experience in related field is preferred.


·         Communicates tactfully and effectively, verbally and in writing, and maintains effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment.  Familiar with modern office methods, practices, procedures, and equipment, as well as filing systems and business letter writing.  Competent in correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and arithmetic.

·         Strong computer skills required, preferably Microsoft applications such as Access and Outlook.

·         Organizational and customer service skills required.

·         Knowledge of General and Automobile Liability Insurance, workers’ compensation, and knowledge of general business insurance terminology.


Performs light work; exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
