You have to have the “it factor”, along with being a self-starter that is highly motivated, goal-orientated, and an over-achiever. You have the ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team. You excel in a rapidly growing environment with high expectations for sales growth.

Previous experience in the Telecom industry with executive relationships is a definite plus! You must have experience supporting sales teams and nudging the team to achieve established goals. You are motivated and comfortable with a base + commission compensation structure – you can also value and sell to our clients.

You will be responsible for the following as a Sales Consultant:

You will be expected to maximize sales force efficiency with the goal of enhancing the client experience, as well as acts as a point of contact for the sales rep, client, and vendor as it relates to order management by:

·         Enhance the Client Experience through Direct Communication

o    Work with inside/outside sales reps to find solutions when potential issues arise

o    Determine and communicate solutions with clients

·         Generate Quotations, Sales Orders, & Purchase Orders

o    Build quotes in NetSuite, day-to-day and project quotes

o    Work with vendors to get expected lead times

o    Work with purchasing on pricing for large project opportunities

·         Source materials and verify lead times

o    Create Dropship Purchase orders and verify estimated ship dates

o    Create Special Order Purchase orders and verify estimated ship dates

o    Fulfill Dropship Purchase Orders and confirm shipment

o    Create Transfer Orders when sourcing materials from other stocking locations

·         Achieve Quarterly Sales/Margin/GP% Goal

o    Work with Sales Reps to ensure quotes are being followed up on and/or closed out regularly

·         Vendor Relationship Management

o    Engage and support PVP and SVP suppliers when opportunities arise

o    Offer feedback on pricing when necessary

o    Register for Project Pricing or ask for protection if we bring a project to a vendor

o    Focus on fostering your relationships with PVP’s and SVP’s
