Sales Technology Support Specialist
We are currently seeking a Sales Technology Support Specialist to join our team.
Provides support for sales technology applications and related issues, and ensures positive end-user experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides support for sales technology applications and related issues.
- Works closely with Sales Technology Team to maintain a high level of client trust and satisfaction.
- Tracks reported issues and follow through to resolution.
- Facilitates software implementation in conjunction with applicable internal departments and tests
- software to ensure successful implementation and start-up.
- Troubleshoots issues related to sales automation and basic MS Office applications.
- Acts as liaison between sales personnel, remote offices, and the Innovative Technology Solutions Department (ITS).
- Installs, tests, and evaluates new software and technologies as it relates to the sales environment.
- Defines, resolves, and/or reports specific problems to Department management.
- Tracks analyze and generate reports on service history and recommend ways in which user satisfaction can be increased.
- Participates in team projects that enhance the quality or efficiency of sales technology.
- Assists with product-related issues, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- One to two years of experience in computer systems, software support, general applications, or sales force automation tools is preferred.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; telephone etiquette, ability to use customer service standards and follow guidelines as well as to help others interpret policy.
- Thorough understanding of trouble ticket process, excellent organizational skills, strong oral and written communications skills (technical and non-technical).
- Understanding of the use and administration of sales force automation tools is preferred.
- Basic understanding of telecommunications, network, and desktop knowledge is highly desirable, including experience in: Cisco Phone system, voice mail, and peripheral devices, Windows OS, and all Microsoft Office Products.
- Communicates tactfully and effectively, verbally and in writing, and maintains effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment.
- Familiar with modern office methods, practices, procedures, equipment, filing systems, and business letter writing. Competent in correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and arithmetic.
