Senior Financial Analyst
We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. This position is responsible for gathering a company’s current and projected financials, benefits, and operational information to prepare a wholistic employment cost analysis (ECA). The purpose of this analysis is to compare a prospect’s current state against an alternative state of operating with Insperity. This position presents the financial analysis to an executive management team to provide a thorough understanding of their human capital investments. Participates in internal cost analysis to support decision making processes.
Responsibilities:

Engages in interactive dialogue with management of prospects and clients to determine their employer-related human capital costs

Prepares financial analysis, financial projections, or pro forma projections, as necessary.

Analyzes, interprets, and efficiently summarizes financial data, including financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement), general ledger data, accounts payable data, payroll data, insurance policies (benefits, workers’ compensation, EPLI) and other components attributable to the soft costs associated with human capital management.

Analyzes workflow, organizational charts, optimum headcount utilization, turnover costs and other productivity impacting corporate functions.

Participates in internal cost and profitability analysis, such as customer segment analysis, product cost and profitability analysis, customer lifetime value analysis.

Maintains current knowledge of Insperity product offerings, competition, and industry pricing and recommends competitive responses when appropriate.
- Develops and maintains relationships with Middle Market Sales, Pricing & Review, Middle Market Client Services, Benefits, Finance, Technology and Legal Departments to ensure that analysis and ECA project meet company’s objectives and provide a good customer experience.

Works on other financial projects as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance is required.
- Four or more years of experience and thorough understanding of financial accounting, reporting and analysis practices is required.
- Experience in PEO or Human Resources is preferred.
- Analytical and decision-making skills necessary to answer business questions utilizing data and other analytical information.
- Comfortable interfacing with and presenting to C-level positions at prospects and clients while representing our organization at high levels.
- Strong financial analysis skills. Attention to detail and data accuracy. Ability to understand data and be able to answer questions during a presentation or evaluation.
- Ability to work autonomously and comfortable with managing multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to build strong relationships with internal constituents.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.
- Travel: 20%
