Senior Account Supervisor

The Senior Account Supervisor plays a leadership role on our account team and is passionate about bringing purpose-driven brands to life through strategic public relations and communications. You have a track record of building trusted, long-term relationships with your clients while developing, executing, and supervising communications, PR, and marketing plans. Research plays an important role in your work; you know how to ask the right questions and work with your team to dig for information that enables you to provide informed counsel and well-thought-out recommendations. Within Kane, the Senior Account Supervisor reports to the VP of Client Services, directly manages one or more associates, and works with other agency specialists to develop integrated communications strategies for clients

To be successful, you should have:

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, and/or PR-related fields.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working in an agency environment managing your own client accounts as the senior-level point of contact and balancing work from multiple clients at one time.
  • Passion for social and narrative change campaigns, corporate communications, and the integration of brand research and digital marketing into communications and PR work.
  • Experience managing entry-level staff.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • A proven ability to manage large accounts, as well as teams, for multiple clients at once.
  • Experience consulting directly with the C-suite, recommending PR, communications, integrated, branding, and marketing strategies that address their reputation and brand challenges.
  • Experience pitching media, preferably with a list of media contacts/relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and demonstrated ability to delegate tactical assignments and accurately judge and edit the work of others.
  • Able to produce examples of strategic, integrated, branding, marketing & PR plans, and/or findings reports with strategic recommendations made to your clients.
