Supervisor, Pricing & Review

We are currently seeking a Supervisor, Pricing & Review to join our team.

This position is responsible for supervising the pricing and review processes ensuring all prospective client or current clients are reviewed and approved in a timely manner. Makes final decisions for risk evaluation and pricing allocation based on review criteria. Provides oversight of day-to-day assignments within the respective areas. Resolves escalated prospective client issues with positive outcomes while maintaining appropriate company policies and procedures.
 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Under limited supervision and much decision-making:

  • Monitors the volume of prospective client bids and relooks and assigns new bids appropriately. Ensures processes are at highest efficiency in order to support all new bids and insure they are being reviewed and processed on a timely basis for new business teams.
  • Monitors the volume of current client bids and relooks and assigns renewal bids appropriately. Ensures processes are at highest efficiency in order to support all renewal bids and insure they are being reviewed and processed on a timely basis for all client renewals.
  • Interfaces with internal departments to gather information required to prepare accurate and timely pricing allocations. Provides guidance in order to successfully approve a prospective client or renewal bid.
  • Interfaces with Sales personnel or Client Renewals Team to help explain prospective client allocations. Provides adequate information for sales training as it relates to different pricing components.
  • Confers with Deal Team, Sales, and other departments to resolve prospective client issues.
  • Approves pricing allocation adjustments within appropriate guidelines without additional management oversight. Escalates adjustment requests to management when outside of the approved guideline.
  • Organizes workflow, trains and explains process to Pricing & Review team, Business Performance Advisors and Sales Team.
  • Handles a variety of sensitive situations and problem-solves on own initiative, advising management of action taken and outcome.
  • Assists with creation of management reports as to the status of prospective clients and new sales and renewals.
  • Maintains knowledge of current Workforce Optimization, Business Performance Solutions and other Company offerings.
  • Acts as back up to Director for certain responsibilities, as needed.
  • Supervises team, answers questions and helps resolve problems that arise.
  • Provides general supervision of all direct reports including managing PTO, timesheets and daily workload. Conducts annual performance appraisals.

  • Assists in the accomplishment of Insperity Company goals.
  • Helps other employees to accomplish Insperity Company goals.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by department supervisor.
  • Participates in the Disaster Recovery plan as required.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Associate’s Degree in related field preferred.
  • Four to six years of knowledge and understanding of the PEO industry is preferred.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

  • Demonstrated ability to deal constructively with conflict and utilize methods and techniques used in persuasion and negotiation of conflicts and issues.
  • Excellent verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to communicate concisely and effectively with peers, senior leadership, and external clients.
  • Attention to detail and data accuracy is critical.
  • Principles and practices of business administration and mathematics including algebra and rations; ability to interpret, analyze, organize, and apply company operations to the sales process; proven problem solving skills.
