Supply Chain Coordinator

RIBUS, Inc. is a 30-year-old business that specializes in natural and organic food / dietary supplement / pet ingredients.  Recent expansion into manufacturing has created a new location in Sparks, NV. The Supply Chain Coordinator position is a new role in support of the Sparks Production Team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Reports into the Supply Chain Manager and supports the Plant Manager in Sparks by purchasing and arranging transportation for incoming / outbound materials for the production facility.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for all inbound materials, and transportation.
  • Purchase supplies and raw materials
  • Execute purchasing requirements to ensure timely arrival of materials and enter Purchase Orders, Shipping Orders, etc. into company ERP system (Sage X3).
  • Schedule production and logistics with third party manufacturers
  • Coordinate lab shipments
  • Provide admin assistance for Sparks Team
  • Data entry and analysis
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

  • College, trade school, or 2-3 years of work-related experience
  • Creative problem solver, team player
  • Strong Communication Skills (oral and written)
  • Strong Computer Skills (MS Office and other programs)
  • Attention to Detail with ability to multitask
  • Bookkeeping skills, ERP (Sage X3) experience a plus.
