Virtual School Psychologist – Indiana Statewide

The Hoosier College and Career Academy School Psychologist provides comprehensive school psychological services and intervention support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Serves as initial contact for any educational evaluation referral

·         Administer psychological and educational evaluations as a member of a team of qualified professionals.

·         Conducts and completes evaluations within the prescribed timelines

·         Serves as a resource for Response to Intervention teams

·         Consults with school personnel and parents in planning and developing a student’s individualized education program and school programs to meet the special needs of students

·         Consults with administrative personnel involving placement, special education rules, and regulations

·         Assists in the facilitation of training opportunities

·         Other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education

Qualifications:                 

·         Valid Indiana School Psychologist License

·         Comfortable and capable in using Microsoft Excel and Outlook and learning internal data management systems

·         Must have strong oral and written communication skills

·         Must have experience utilizing the IIEP system.
