Client Relationship Specialist

Our client is a Central Texas design showroom specializing in custom-order upholstery. Their styles range from classic modern to traditional.


As the Client Relationship Specialist, you will provide the company’s clients with best-in-class service through product specification, quote, and order life cycle. Your duties and responsibilities will include working with clients in the showroom, maintaining superior product knowledge, and helping maintain a clean and well-organized showroom.


To thrive, you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university and 5 years related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Cooperative, courteous, and patient nature with clients and team members
  • Previous client service experience is a plus


You should preferably possess strong technology skills, including:

  • Google Suite – Calendar, Email, Documents
  • Apple Computers, iPads, and Apple Office Software (Pages, Numbers, etc.)
  • Accounting/Data Management software – Oracle NetSuite
  • Internet/Social Media – Chrome or Safari, email functionality; Social Media functionality
  • Phone – Relative functionality, multi-line system.


What you’ll do as the Client Relationship Specialist:

  • Oversee the entire specification, quoting, and sales order process.
  • Engage directly with designers and clients, guiding them through showroom inventory and custom item selections.
  • Educate designers and clients on product offerings and custom capabilities, ensuring a thorough understanding.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure accurate specifications for made-to-order items, communicating findings through quotes and email.
  • Proactively analyze and enhance quote and order management processes, taking initiative to streamline operations.
