As the Legal Support Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of our client’s attorney network operations. You must be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with legal knowledge, project management skills, and technological proficiency to support various legal support workflows within the organization.

 

To thrive, you should have: 

  • 2+ years of estate planning/estate law experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in legal operations, paralegal work, or related roles within a corporate legal department or law firm.
  • Solid understanding of legal principles, processes, and terminology.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing technology tools and software to optimize operations.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.

 

Your responsibilities as the Legal Support Operations Specialist will include:

  • Process Execution: Oversee and manage legal support operations processes, including attorney-triggered document review, attorney referrals, annual document review, and attorney network support.
  • Legal Process Optimization and Project Management: Streamline and improve processes and workflows to enhance the operational efficiency and productivity of our legal staff. Coordinate and support various legal projects and initiatives from inception to completion.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze legal operational data and generate reports to identify trends, track key performance indicators, and provide insights for decision-making purposes.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including data protection laws, industry-specific regulations, and company policies.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks and develop mitigation strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal issues and minimize liability exposure.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve legal operations processes and procedures to drive greater efficiency, quality, and value for the organization.
