Patient Engagement Coordinator – Remote

Eastern Time Zone preferred – 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Patient Engagement Coordinator to support programs within the Department of Patient Engagement and Education. In this role, you will provide essential support for volunteer and community engagement, patient education programs, and patient navigation services, while managing multiple projects across the department. To be successful, you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health or a related field, with experience in program coordination, volunteer management, or community engagement.
  • Solid administrative, organizational, and multitasking skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders and write clearly and effectively.
  • Solid technical proficiency with administrative and project management tools, and experience planning and managing small events.
  • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, and travel occasionally (15–20%) to support program needs.

 

Your responsibilities as the Patient Engagement Coordinator will include: 

  • Manage volunteer and community engagement programs, including communications, tracking, and support for regional events and leadership initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate patient and volunteer records, data entry, and reporting using platforms such as Salesforce and project management tools like Asana.
  • Support planning and logistics for patient education programs and community events, including venue coordination, materials, and vendor management.
  • Assist with departmental operations, financial reporting, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth program execution.
  • Facilitate volunteer stewardship and retention efforts, helping volunteers feel engaged, appreciated, and supported.
