As the Program Support Specialist, IFMA Foundation, you will work closely with the Executive Director, be responsible for key IFMA Foundation activities, and assist the Executive Director and Board of Trustees.

To be successful as the Program Support Specialist, you should have:

  • 4+ years of experience in non-profit programming or fundraising coordination/operations; Bachelor’s degree preferred in fundraising, non-profit administration, or related fields.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects or programs, prioritize competing demands and adapt to changing circumstances while ensuring timely, high-quality outputs.
  • Solid English reading, writing, and speaking skills, with the ability to produce and present professional documents, respond to inquiries, and effectively engage with diverse audiences, including leadership and public groups.
  • Competence in problem-solving, data analysis, and interpreting technical information, including the ability to work with abstract and concrete variables in various formats.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools, donor management systems (CRM), and design platforms like Canva, with experience in scholarship and accounting software.

 

Responsibilities as the Program Support Specialist include: 

  • Coordinate regional implementations of the Global Workforce Initiative (GWI) and support chapter leaders, industry representatives, and key stakeholders to promote Facility Management (FM) as a career of choice.
  • Fulfill donor expectations, assist with cultivation and solicitation efforts, manage gift and sponsorship agreements, and ensure agreement terms are executed and fulfilled.
  • Administer all aspects of scholarship programs, including promotion, sponsor solicitation, student application and evaluation processes, award distribution, and enhancing the student experience at events.
  • Execute marketing and communication strategies, including producing promotional materials, managing digital content, and supporting event-related activities.
  • Plan and execute Foundation events, oversee fundraising logistics, provide administrative support, and utilize donor management software for reporting and program goals.
