SALES PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM MANAGER

We are currently seeking a Sales Performance Improvement Program Manager to join our team.

SUMMARY 

This position is responsible for managing innovative and effective training programs to support the sales organization’s growth goals and objectives. Provides day-to-day management, support, enhancement, and continuing operation of training program initiatives from conception through delivery and analysis. Once there is smooth and effective functioning of the training programs, this position will build capacity and identify resources to scale.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Determines program scope and critical timelines to support the sales organization’s growth goals and minimize ramp up time. 
  • Collaborates with Sales Performance Improvement (SPI) disciplinary teams; needs analysis, development, delivery and operations to identify program curriculum content and logistics.
  • Manages internal resources and stakeholders who provide program support.
  • Evaluates and coordinates external vendors and vendor proposals.
  • Develops marketing plan for training programs.
  • Manages relationships with partners and sponsors.
  • Collaborates with sales leadership regarding selection criteria and qualifications of program participants.  
  • Ensures quality of program delivery through advanced preparation, inspection and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborates with SPI Managers to facilitate changes and enhancements to program design.
  • Conducts program evaluation, executes survey, analyzes and compiles results, presents recommended prioritized list of changes and enhancements.
  • Identifies KPIs and compiles monthly performance results.
  • Develops program budget and forecasts expenses.
  • Measures ROI of training programs.
  • Compiles program quarterly board data.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma is required.  Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Human Resources, or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in training program development and delivery, including curriculum development for adult learners is preferred.
  • Consulting and/or mentoring experience with business leaders and entrepreneurs is preferred.
  • Business Acumen – Intuitive and applicable understanding of how the company makes money that is critical to effective strategy execution
  • Advanced skills in financial management and budgeting, as well as procurement and contract negotiations across the program
  • Critical Thinking – using logic to identify the strengths and challenges of alternate solutions, conclusions and approaches
  • Deductive reasoning – applying generalizations to specific problems in a logical manner
  • Problem solving and sensitivity – sensing when an underlying problem is present
  • Information ordering – arranging information into patterns that facilitate better understanding
  • Information discretion – judging what information is critical for others to receive
  • Category flexibility – the ability to use various sets of rules for combining or categorizing information in different ways
  • Principles and procedures for delivering effective adult training and developing curriculum
  • Principles and procedures for analyzing feedback surveys, analyzing results, prioritization and presenting recommendations
  • Excellent public speaking and presentations skills
  • Active Listening – respectfully listening and asking questions to create an understanding of others’ positions
  • Time Management – scheduling one’s day in order to complete high priority tasks
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Written and oral expression – effectively and efficiently conveying ideas in written and oral form
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects, priorities, resources and initiatives
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication and organization skills
  • Travels: Yes, up to 10% of time
