Senior Financial Analyst

As the Financial Analyst, you will support the company and affiliated entities in various financial initiatives, working under the direction of the Vice President of Finance. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: Design and present financial analyses to aid senior management and the Board in understanding business performance and strategic planning. Review financial statements and provide recommendations for decision support.
  • KPI Management: Create and manage a dashboard of key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve predictability and forecast accuracy. Monitor and measure these KPIs monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Strategic Financial Reviews: Conduct financial reviews with management, analyzing current trends, historical performance, variance, and industry benchmarks. Assist with provider compensation models and payer agreement evaluations.
  • Acquisition & Growth Support: Contribute to due diligence for potential acquisitions and new business opportunities. Lead service line forecasting and process implementation.
  • Annual Operating Plan: Assist in creating the Annual Operating Plan and managing variances in the forecast throughout the year. Provide ad hoc analyses, including margin analysis, staffing models, and proformas.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Effectively communicate financial performance and recommendations to senior leadership. Collaborate with various teams, including Financial & Accounting, Revenue Cycle, and Managed Care, ensuring accurate and timely completion of projects.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (accounting, finance, economics, or related field) 
  • Healthcare industry experience is required
  • Minimum 3-4 years prior financial analysis work experience
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years healthcare industry is preferred 
  • Private equity backed environment experience preferred
  • OP physician clinic experience preferred 
  • Strong knowledge of Excel & relational databases
