Senior Graphics Designer

We are currently seeking a Senior Graphics Designer to join our team. 

Ensures consistency, art direction and quality of all final productions of visual/design marketing materials, both internal and external, including, but not limited to direct mail, brochures, newsletters, flyers, advertisements, and logos.


  • Ensures consistency, art direction and quality of all final productions of visual/design marketing materials, both internal and external, including, but not limited to direct mail, brochures, newsletters, flyers, advertisements, and logos.
  • Provides art direction, concepts and designs that effectively reflect marketing strategies as detailed in each project’s creative work plan. 
  • Supports Insperity brand integration and maintains brand consistency by developing harmonious designs for all internal department projects.
  • Works closely with Marketing group to ensure that Insperity communication objectives are being met.
  • Performs color correction, contrast, and image correction with both RBG and CMYK photos.
  • Responsible for conception, initial creative strategic design, art direction and development of mechanicals for release to production for all marketing, advertising, lead generation and branding materials.
  • Prepares estimates for photography, freelance assistance and other outside costs that impact the creative portion of a project’s budget.
  • Develops necessary ongoing skills to stay abreast of latest design trends.
  • Maintains excellent working knowledge of Macintosh and PC environment and software, including Adobe Illustrator, Quark Xpress, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Creates physical compositions and paper dummies for preliminary reviews and presentations. 
  • Uses appropriate internal and external resources effectively.
  • Creates, organizes and maintains indexing and filing system for all files, documents and style sheets related to print and multimedia.
  • Supports company departments in their efforts to perform print and multimedia design.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of a company-wide graphic standards style guide.
  • Assists the Manager, Multimedia and other department staff as needed in order to complete ongoing marketing projects.


  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.  Graphic Arts four-year degree or two-year Associate’s degree; or Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Communications, Marketing, or related field. 
  • Minimum of three to five years of graphic design experience, with demonstrated strong graphics background.  Portfolio required, with emphasis on print design and multimedia presentations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the principles of design and procedures of marketing, including promotional concepts, color theory, artistic design and effective layout. 
  • Demonstrated experience and competence in print piece design and production.
  • Demonstrated strong typographic and formatting skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather, interpret, organize, edit and present information in a consistent and graphically effective manner to capture desired corporate image.
  • Understand and use correct English, grammar, spelling, vocabulary, composition and proofreading skills at a level necessary for satisfactory job performance.
  • Operate personal computers as an integral part of job; demonstrate understanding of and competence with QuarkXPress, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Macromedia Studio, MS Word and PowerPoint. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the creation and production of print publications, in order to back up other graphic design functions in the department. 
  • Works effectively with colleagues and others encountered in the course of employment.
  • Communicates tactfully and effectively, verbally and in writing, and maintains effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment, familiar with modern office methods, practices, procedures and equipment, as well as filing systems and business letter writing and competent in correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and arithmetic.
