Technical Project Manager – Manufacturing Functional Test

We seek 2 talented Technical Project Managers (TPM) as the lead subject matter experts for our customers’ manufacturing test development projects, including test software, test hardware, and integration. The Test Card and Server Rack TPM will support test card and server rack engineering development projects, and the Functional Test TPM will support functional test network engineering projects. You can network with multiple customer teams, suppliers, engineers, and a dream team of experts to maximize support.  

 

To succeed, you should have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer or electrical engineering, industrial design, or manufacturing-related field 5+ years experience with project management in high-visibility, strategic areas with strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills 
  • 5+ years experience with manufacturing test industries
  • Experience with printed circuit board (PCB) assembly, component testing, and soldering techniques
  • Experience with specific firmware domains, such as Baseboard Management Controller (BMC), Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) switches, and logic design
  • Experience with managing suppliers and partners in implementing test requirements 
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing frameworks
  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) 

 

It would be great if you have: 

  • Knowledge of Python development
  • Manufacturing test design experience

 

Your contribution as the Technical Project Manager – Manufacturing Functional Test will include:        

  • Coordinate custom test fixture and server rack test development across internal teams and external partners.
  • Manage test development projects from planning to deployment, supporting NPI and volume manufacturing.
  • Oversee procurement, scheduling, logistics, and risk management for manufacturing test solutions, aligning with NPI program schedules.
  • Coordinate supplier proposals and selections for test fixture components and JDM partner solutions.
  • Drive communication with stakeholders, vendors, and contract manufacturers to review status, resolve issues, and implement improvements.
  • Maintain and contribute to technical documentation, including test plans, processes, and presentations.
  • Evaluate technological choices to balance cost/benefit and future implications.
  • Support sales by acting as the TPM for complex projects, demonstrating engineering capabilities and industry trends to customers.
