As a motivated and experienced Technology Project/Program Manager, you will oversee and manage technology projects and programs within our organization. You will leverage your strong leadership abilities to guide teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will collaborate with stakeholders, communicate effectively, and drive strategic initiatives to achieve business goals. You will apply your proven track record in successfully executing complex technology projects while identifying and mitigating risks. You will be crucial in optimizing processes, managing resources, and ensuring the seamless execution of innovative IT solutions.
For you to thrive, you should have:
- An Associate’s degree in a technical field, one to two years of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to solve practical problems and navigate complex scenarios with limited standardization, interpreting various instructions (written, oral, diagrams, or schedules).
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to quickly learn new software tools.
- Willingness to obtain a PMP or other technical project management certification (offers reimbursement as part of the compensation package).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive projects to successful completion.
Your responsibilities as the Technology Project/Program Manager will include:
- Lead and manage technology projects and programs from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, product development, and business stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure effective communication and reporting of project status to senior management and stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
- Facilitate project meetings, including kick-off meetings, status updates, and post-project reviews.
