Our client, a national nonprofit in the healthcare and rare disease space, is seeking a dynamic VP of Operations to build the foundational infrastructure that enables scale to significate growth and continued meaningful impact. In this role, you will lead teams, design scalable systems, processes and people practices from the ground up. You will architect the operational backbone that allows program teams to grow in impact and execute projects. This is a great opportunity for a healthcare program management professional with experience in human resources, operational effectiveness, systems and infrastructure, and risk management.

To be successful, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree required (public health, social sciences, business administration, nonprofit management, or related field preferred), with demonstrated experience in corporate or nonprofit organizational roles. Master’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years of prior management experience, overseeing a minimum of four direct reports simultaneously.
- 4+ years of prior leadership experience in corporate or nonprofit operations role.
- Excellent ability to professionally engage patients, volunteers, partners, and internal teams; willingness and ability to travel as needed.
Your responsibilities as the VP of Operations will include:
- Human Resources, Organizational Policies, and Internal Communications: Lead HR, administrative operations, and internal communication strategies to support organizational growth, efficiency, and collaboration across a remote workforce.
- Organizational Operations and Effectiveness: Technology, Systems, and Infrastructure: Oversee organizational systems, technology, workflows, vendor relationships, and performance reporting to improve operational efficiency, collaboration, and strategic alignment.
- Risk Management, Compliance, and Financial Stewardship: Ensure organizational compliance, risk management, financial oversight, and long-term sustainability through strong governance, policy development, and resource management.
