To succeed as the Customer Operations Manager, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field; 5+ years of customer service leadership and people management experience in manufacturing, retail, or distribution environments required
- Proven experience managing ERP systems (Epicor preferred), CRM platforms, EDI workflows, and eCommerce integrations; proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI reporting tools
- Solid understanding of order-to-cash processes, manufacturing supply chain operations, logistics coordination, and customer fulfillment systems in a high-volume production environment
- Experience supporting multi-channel customer bases and coordinating across cross-functional, onsite operations teams (no travel required)
Your responsibilities as the Customer Operations Manager will include:
- Lead end-to-end customer order lifecycle management, including order entry, fulfillment coordination, invoicing, returns, and issue resolution to ensure seamless order-to-cash execution
- Oversee ERP, CRM, EDI, and eCommerce data integrity, ensuring accurate customer master data, pricing structures, and system synchronization across integrated platforms
- Manage customer operations workflows, including onboarding, product allocation, supply prioritization, and demand planning in collaboration with supply chain and production teams
- Manage processes related to customer complaints, returns, refunds, samples, and accommadations.
- Supervise and develop a customer service team, establishing performance standards, accountability, and service excellence across 1,000+ accounts and multi-brand SKU portfolios
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with sales, logistics, finance, IT, and operations to resolve fulfillment challenges, improve process efficiency, and enhance customer experience
