Administrative Support Associate 

 

EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) is a membership organization of mental health professionals dedicated to establishing and upholding standards of practice, training, certification, and research, providing information, education, and advocacy, and assisting practitioners in fulfilling their responsibilities to the public. We seek an Administrative Support Associate to provide administrative, accounting, and membership support.

To thrive, you should have:

  • 2–4 years of administrative experience (preferably in membership associations) or equivalent combination of education and experience; familiarity with EMDR therapy is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite core programs, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook; basic accounting and math; strong reasoning and data analysis abilities.
  • Experience with Association Management Software (AMS), Learning Management Software, and support ticket system is highly preferred.

 

Your responsibilities as the Administrative Support Associate will include:

  • Serve as a primary contact via phone and support ticket system for inquiries related to membership, website use, event registration, and EMDRIA resources.
  • Handle mail distribution, process payments and refunds, manage AMS orders and batches, and resolve payment issues.
  • Assist with communication for conferences and summits, including email support and participation in virtual and/or onsite events.
  • Carry out membership-related tasks in AMS and assist with data accuracy and system updates as needed.
  • Provide backup support for administrative staff, assist the COO, and contribute to organization-wide projects.
