This position is responsible for representing and providing service for the Insperity Insurance Services (IIS) programs; guided by policy and focused on daily operations. 

Responsibilities

  • Supervises IIS product support and client retention personnel.

  • Analyzes marketplace in order to determine viable vendors.

  • Performs market research in order to ensure competitiveness of IIS offerings.

  • Collaborates with Sales Teams and to verify that services offered meet or exceed market needs.

  • Works with vendors and Internal Teams to create and/or maintain process/procedure/data integration for service delivery.

  • Monitors process to verify service delivered is efficient and cost effective.

  • Works with carrier/vendor partners to monitor, evaluate and enhance client onboarding and service experience.

  • Coordinates with carrier and broker partners to ensure clear data communication.

  • Provides oversight to the Agency Management Systems, including;

  • Collaboration with the vendor and internal partners

  • System administration and support

  • Training of the IIS sales and operations personnel

  • Report management

  • System documentation

  • Data integrity

  • Initiates and maintains a productive working relationship with internal and external clients, carriers and vendors.

  • Identifies process needs and assists with implementation and revising processes as necessary.

  • Delivers effective product training for the IIS Sales and Service organizations, to include the quoting and submission process for new business.

  • Collaborates with IIS Product Manager to maintain a product and procedural training manual to be used by the IIS sales and operations personnel.

  • Acts as a product line expert and maintain a thorough knowledge of industry product features and benefits as well as industry product trends.

  • Provides product expertise to various internal areas, including, IIS sales and marketing, Legal and Finance.

  • Stays informed of industry trends, markets and carrier submission processes.

  • Gathers information, analyzes data trends, identifies root causes and make recommendations.

  • Maintains familiarity with state laws to properly transact business within a state.

  • Responds to escalated product (coverage) questions or inquiries.

  • Assists in the accomplishment of Insperity Company goals.

  • Helps other employees to accomplish Insperity Company goals.

  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by department supervisor.

  • Participates in the Disaster Recovery plan as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required.

  • Three to five years of experience in insurance field is preferred. 

  • Property & Casualty License is preferred.

  • Life, Accident & Health License is preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to support the execution and deployment of sales, service and operational strategies, including the measurement of results.

  • Extensive knowledge and application of federal, state, and local laws and regulations as relates to insurance programs.

  • Able to establish working relationships and interact effectively with a wide range of people; work independently with limited direction; and maintain effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment.  Ability to coordinate print, online, and other communications projects from start to finish.

  • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate multi-faceted projects, organize workflow under narrow time limitations.  Ability to read, analyze, and interpret benefits plan documents.

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Acrobat document-sharing software, Internet software, and database software.  Familiarity with Internet and intranet environments, HTML, and authoring tools a plus.

  • Communicates tactfully and effectively, verbally and in writing, and maintains effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment.
