We’re seeking a motivated Clinical Research Coordinator II to join our growing research team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced research professional to play a direct role in advancing patient care while working alongside respected physicians, investigators, and healthcare professionals on impactful clinical trials.

What You’ll Do

Drive Research Excellence

  • Coordinate and support the initiation, implementation, and ongoing management of clinical research studies. 
  • Assist with study-related documentation, questionnaires, regulatory requirements, and reporting activities. 
  • Promote the continued growth and success of AKDHC’s clinical research program. 
  • Ensure compliance with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ICH guidelines, and Standard Operating Procedures. 

 

Support Patients Through the Research Journey

  • Educate patients about clinical trial opportunities and study participation. 
  • Provide exceptional patient support throughout the research process. 
  • Conduct basic clinical procedures, including vital signs, phlebotomy, specimen collection, and medication administration under the direction of the Principal Investigator. 
  • Monitor patient safety by identifying adverse events and escalating concerns appropriately. 

 

Collaborate Across Teams

  • Partner with physicians, investigators, research staff, and clinical teams to ensure successful study execution. 
  • Support colleagues with research-related activities and operational initiatives. 
  • Foster positive working relationships across multiple departments and locations. 

 

Continue Growing Professionally

  • Expand your clinical research expertise through ongoing education, training, seminars, and certification opportunities. 
  • Work toward Clinical Research Coordinator certification with support from AKDHC’s education resources. 

 

What You’ll Bring

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university 
  • 1–2 years of clinical research, healthcare, or related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience 

 

Knowledge & Certifications

  • Experience with Clinical Research EDC systems 
  • Training or certification in GCP, IATA, and clinical research processes 
  • Understanding of ICH guidelines, Good Clinical Practice, and clinical trial operations 

 

Skills for Success

  • Strong patient care and communication skills 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities 
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and enthusiasm for learning 
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn clinical and research software systems such as Athena and AKDHC platforms
