As the Commercial Lender, you will participate in finding new business on a national scale, with an emphasis on client contact, sales, and service. This role will manage commercial lending portfolios with moderate oversight support from management.

To thrive, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field; 5–10 years in commercial lending or equivalent experience.
- Solid knowledge of underwriting, credit principles, and financial analysis; proficiency in Microsoft Office and business intelligence tools.
- Experience working with executive management, boards, and regulators; ability to develop new business and manage relationships effectively.
- An ability to travel as needed. The standard schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
Your responsibilities as the Commercial Lender will include:
- Loan Processing & Analysis: Evaluate loan requests, analyze credit history, and determine repayment capabilities.
- Client & Portfolio Management: Develop and maintain commercial client relationships, manage loan portfolios, and address problem loans.
- Sales & Negotiation: Sell banking services, negotiate loan terms, and structure competitive interest rates.
- Community & Compliance: Build referral networks, represent the institution in the community, and ensure regulatory compliance.
