Customization and Assembly Assistant

As a Customization & Assembly Assistant for our client, you will support hands-on assembly and product customization, ensure accurate and on-time order fulfillment, perform quality control checks, and help maintain an organized, efficient production environment. You will collaborate closely with warehouse and operations team members to prioritize workflow, meet production deadlines, and uphold strict quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

To succeed, you should have:        

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in customization, assembly, manufacturing, or production environments, with solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid hands-on experience with hand tools, fabrication processes, raw materials, or small circuit soldering, combined with close attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Solid communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow detailed instructions and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced production or manufacturing setting.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook preferred; must be able to lift to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks safely.

 

Your responsibilities as the Customization Assistant will include:        

  • Execute product assembly and light manufacturing tasks using hand tools and production equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Monitor production schedules, meet daily output targets, and support on-time order fulfillment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Perform detailed quality assurance (QA) checks, document discrepancies, and ensure compliance with company quality control standards.
  • Support inventory control processes, including cycle counts, material handling, and ERP system updates, to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, technical, and innovation teams to improve workflow efficiency, support continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain workplace safety standards.
