Your Role: 

Based in the Greensboro, NC office, you will manage existing client relationships, usually on your own but sometimes in coordination with a more experienced advisor on complicated planning topics. As the Financial Advisor, you will formulate and implement advice and may also rely on technical specialists to develop product or planning recommendations. You will also communicate the firm’s investment recommendations and performance to clients.

 

You will utilize your entrepreneurial skills to build and maintain long-term client relationships and prospect new clients. You will be expected to fully participate in the firm’s growth initiatives, follow established processes and procedures, and embrace a team environment.

 

To succeed, you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Personal Financial Planning or similar field of study
  • 5+ years of experience with financial planning and delivering investment portfolios based on individual client needs, objectives, and risk tolerance
  • FINRA Series 7, 66 and Life Insurance Licensed (and SIE if applicable)
  • CFP® designation (or study underway)
  • Must pass industry, criminal, and credit background checks.  Clean U-4
  • Experience in a fee-based environment with comprehensive knowledge of annuities, 529 plans, and insurance products.
  • Strong client service focus, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and build trusted relationships.
  • Solid financial planning skills, adhering to industry regulations and demonstrating integrity, drive, and problem-solving abilities.

 

Your responsibilities as the Financial Advisor will include:

  • Serve as the lead advisor, managing client relationships and addressing investment and planning questions.
  • Assess and address financial and wealth management needs with tailored solutions.
  • Develop and implement customized financial plans aligned with client goals.
  • Build and grow clientele through referrals and follow-up on leads.
  • Regularly meet clients to review portfolios, uncover needs, and offer ongoing support.
  • Represent the firm at client and industry events, maintaining a solid presence.
  • Provide thorough reviews of financial planning issues such as tax, estate, and retirement planning.
  • Adhere to workflow processes and industry regulations while consulting outside experts when necessary.
