What you’ll do:
As the Management Trainee (Manager in Training), you gain hands-on experience in supply, storage, and distribution while learning to plan, control, and organize department operations. You will work closely with management to oversee daily functions, support team leadership, and prepare for a future managerial role.
To be successful, you should have:
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in logistics or related field with a minimum of 10 years, is required.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, strong mathematical skills, and ability to create reports, statistics, and graphs.
• Fluency in English and bilingual in Spanish is required.
• Solid leadership abilities, a dynamic and persistent personality, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Physicality fit for job demands, adaptable to extreme weather conditions, and willing to travel nationally and internationally for training.
As the Management Trainee (Manager in Training), you will:
• Ensure Safety Compliance – Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety policies to ensure a safe work environment for all team members.
• Maintain Quality Standards – Uphold high-quality standards by keeping work areas organized, performing audits, and ensuring compliance with company guidelines.
• Team Management & Leadership – Plan, organize, and oversee department operations, manage team performance, track KPIs, and coordinate training needs.
• Administrative & Reporting Duties – Complete required paperwork, monitor payroll, control labor hours, and provide timely department reports to upper management.
• Adaptability & Problem-Solving – Perform various support tasks, work flexible hours as needed, and apply problem-solving skills to improve team efficiency and operations.
