Nevada Kidney Disease and Hypertension Center (NKDHC) is one of the largest Nephrology clinics in Nevada. We are considered experts in the treatment of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), Acute Renal Failure (ARF), Kidney Transplantation, and creating and maintaining access to dialysis therapies. Our company is a professional medical association consisting of physicians and other vital support staff. We are expanding and seeking Medical Assistants and Patient Care Coordinators to join our Las Vegas and Henderson area teams.

What You’ll Do

As a key member of our clinical team, you’ll help deliver exceptional patient experiences and ensure smooth day-to-day operations within the practice.


You’ll make an impact by:

  • Providing hands-on patient care, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, administering injections, performing urine testing, assisting with anemia and iron management, and supporting patient education 
  • Coordinating clinical procedures and diagnostic testing, including specimen collection, blood pressure monitoring, scheduling, and follow-up care 
  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation within the EMR and communicating important patient updates to providers 
  • Managing patient scheduling, recalls, referrals, and care coordination to help patients stay on track with treatment plans 
  • Supporting clinic operations through medical records management, inventory control, HIPAA compliance, and collaboration with team members across multiple locations 

 

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) or graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program 
  • 2 years of clinical medical assistant experience in a healthcare setting, required 
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus
  • Internal Medicine prior experience is a plus
  • Experience with EMR systems and common clinical and office equipment 
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively 
  • A patient-first mindset and a commitment to providing compassionate care
