As a Network Engineer, you will design, implement, and manage the organization’s infrastructure and ensure network systems run smoothly, securely, and efficiently. 

 

To thrive, you should have:

  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
  • Industry Experience in Television (Broadcasting), Financial, Legal, or Manufacturing 

 

Your skills and talents should include:

  • Solid interpersonal written & oral communication skills
  • Ability to maintain good client relationships  
  • Highly motivated and self-directed – searches out opportunities to help clients
  • Understanding of 
    1. LAN switching & routing  (STP, EIGRP, OSPF)
    2. WAN design, including SD-WAN (BGP)
    3. Firewalls (FirePower FTD, ASA’s)
    4. Wireless Technologies (WiFi-5, WiFi-6, WiFi-6e)
  • Excellent network troubleshooting skills
  • Appreciation for the importance of administrative tasks  
    • Timeslips describing work completed.
    • Assisting with statements of work

 

It is preferred for you to have:

  • IP Fabric for Media
  • Multicast
  • Nexus Dashboard – VXLAN / EVPN and Fabric Controller
  • Network security principles
  • Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
  • Experience with scripting languages
