They’re seeking a Payroll Manager to join a dynamic People Services team, partnering with a PEO and internal managers to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing tailored to the construction industry, helping build the future of connectivity together.

They offer a competitive compensation range of $110,000-$130,000, depending on experience, along with a robust benefits package that includes:

To succeed, you should have:        

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, HR, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience is considered.
  • 5–7 years of payroll experience, with strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Prior experience with prevailing wage contracts and payroll in the construction or telecom industries is strongly preferred.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred.
  • Occasional travel may be required to support multi-site operations or audits.

 

Your responsibilities as the Payroll Manager will include:        

  • Manage end-to-end payroll operations with a PEO, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Lead and develop payroll staff while standardizing and streamlining payroll processes.
  • Review and approve complex payroll components, including commissions, production pay, and incentive programs.
  • Oversee certified/prevailing wage reporting and year-end requirements such as W-2s and 1099s.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support budgeting, forecasting, audits, and system integrations.
