This position is responsible for overall integration and interactions for the Workday application in the Retirement Services business unit.  This includes retirement plan onboarding and conversion setup, release and enhancement management, product workstream development and product integration management.  This position collaborates with Business Solutions, Retirement Services Operations, ITS and DS&E for all retirement plan set up and maintenance issues.  This role is responsible for continuous improvement and enhancements to the application(s) under their purview.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees all facets of the Workday integration including release management, product playbooks, and high-level requirements gathering.  Ensures the application aligns with the company’s overall strategy and goals, as well as financial goals for the department.
  • Manages the Retirement Services Workday integration and interacts with other enterprise Workday users to facilitate plan set ups and updates.
  • Manages the coordination and execution of testing for application releases and installations in the department.
  • Contributes to business planning in support of product strategy objectives.
  • Manages communications and problem resolution with ITS and other units as needed.
  • Works closely with Operations, Compliance, and other Insperity units to fulfill business goals.
  • Coordinates with other Project Managers within Retirement Services to ensure application strategy and updates are in line with business goals. 
  • Communicates business value, product and feature availability, positioning, and messaging to cross-functional teams, other business units and senior management as appropriate.
  • Manages multi departmental projects reporting status to Management as appropriate.
  • Evaluates and reports on current application performance and usage.
  • Provides level 1 support as the primary departmental resource during Disaster Recovery situations.
  • Serves as the first level troubleshooter for application issues experienced in the Retirement Services area.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or work equivalent is required. 
  • Five to seven years of managing a product or application is preferred.
  • Experience with Workday is required.
  • Understanding of how payroll processes affect retirement plans is preferred.
  • Technical aptitude is required. 
  • Possesses the ability to bring together business strategy, engineering, user experience and data driven decision making into meaningful product design and execution.
  • Possesses the aptitude to accept complex assignments, analyze problems and generate effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to command control of a problem and organize resources and knowledge to attain solutions.
  • Experience working with a Multiple Employer Defined Contribution Plan is a plus.
  • Advanced experience with MS Excel is a plus.
  • Must be able to communicate tactfully and effectively, verbally and in writing, and maintain effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment.
  • Capable self-starter able to work independently, be innovative and actively seek new or better methods for business processes.
  • Must possess excellent customer and organizational skills and to learn new concepts quickly.
  • Must possess excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
