This position is responsible for supporting the Insperity 401(k) Plan Consulting team and clients with the overall service delivery by assisting with daily deliverables and activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains relationships with Insperity 401(k) Plan clients through full life cycle of customer from plan initiation to exit.

  • Supports a book of clients, ensuring touch calls are made to build long-term relationships and maintains a high level of client satisfaction.

  • Handles general client issues and client-specific projects such as plan amendments.

  • Answers incoming calls/emails from clients requesting information on their Insperity 401(k) Plan, including general questions about nondiscrimination testing, Form 5500, invoices, and IRS regulations.

  • Notifies clients of required nondiscrimination testing and partners with Plan Consultant for more complex client discussions as needed.

  • Answers client inquiries on their current plan provisions and potential amendments to their plan.

  • Assists with client issues and acts as liaison between other areas of Retirement Services and the company to resolve operational plan inquiries.

  • Monitors client termination notices with 401(k) Plan and forwards to their assigned Plan Consultant.

  • Assigns new 401(k) clients to Plan Consultants.

  • Responds to general client questions with regards to their ownership structure, potential  mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions/changes.

  • Participates in Plan Consulting team projects as assigned and/or client data analysis.

  • Escalates complex client issues as needed.

  • Manages team mailbox and assists with handling questions and assigns more complex issues to Plan Consultant for further assistance.

  • Runs and provides client reports as needed.

  • Documents client activities in Insperity’s CRM system.

  • Assists with handling mass mailing and/or Eloqua emails notifying clients of updates or testing results include creating CRM activities/task for Plan Consultant.

  • Assists in the accomplishment of Insperity Company goals.

  • Helps other employees to accomplish Insperity Company goals.

  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by department supervisor.

  • Participates in the Disaster Recovery plan as required.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.  Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

  • One to two years of retirement benefits and/or 401(k) experience or in a professional environment is preferred.

  • Professional designations (e.g., CPC, QPA, QKA, CEBS, CPA, APA) are preferred.

  • Understanding of the professional employer organization (PEO) industry and/or MEP/PEP 401(k) plans is preferred.

  • Basic understanding of qualified plans, including ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, and relevant regulations. 

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Effective problem solving/decision-making.

  • Customer service experience.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities with an attention to detail.

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs, and specifically Excel, and demonstrates ability to learn other application programs as needed.

What percent of time is this position required to drive a vehicle (other than Company issued) for business purposes?  5%
