In this role, you will be a valuable part of our client’s accounting team. Reporting to the CFO, you will manage the day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including entering journals, managing accounts receivable and payable, using financial technology systems, and other select finance-related administration. As the Senior Accountant II, you will be the primary contact for internal staff on invoicing, bill payments, cash receipts, revenue, and budgets. You will also ensure timely reconciliation and reporting of all financial statements, prepare financial analyses for the CFO and other key stakeholders as requested, and maintain fiscal records.
To be a successful Senior Accountant II, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting (required).
- 3+ years in accounting, including some payroll processing.
- Proficiency in U.S. GAAP, month-end close, QuickBooks, ERP systems (Visual ERP preferred), and MS Office.
- CPA or other relevant accounting certifications are preferred.
- Solid problem-solving, multitasking, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Financial Reporting & Month-End Close – Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations in compliance with GAAP.
- General Ledger and accounts Management—Maintain accurate records for banking transactions, vendor invoices, customer payments, and fixed assets.
- Cost Analysis & Process Improvement – Evaluate costs, identify inefficiencies, and streamline processes to enhance profitability.
- Payroll & Tax Compliance – Process bi-weekly payroll, submit sales tax reports and ensure accurate financial documentation.
- Budgeting & Forecasting Support – Assist with financial planning, reporting, and ERP system enhancements.
