Senior Accountant

We seek a Senior Accountant. You will drive continuous improvement, significantly contribute to the team, and be responsible for accounting and reporting activities for our client.

 

To thrive, you should have:        

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Solid understanding of GAAP Accounting and reporting
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills

 

Your responsibilities as the Senior Accountant will include:        

  • Team Leadership and Month-End Close: Lead personnel in daily accounting tasks, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and month-end close, while working closely with the Controller.
  • Training and Support: Guide, train, and support accounting personnel, including resolving accounts receivable and accounts payable issues and ensuring accurate sales and inventory pricing maintenance.
  • Cross-Department Coordination: Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to process transactions and maintain compliance with company policies, GAAP, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Analysis and Audit Preparation: Review and analyze financial data to identify trends and risks, support the Controller during external audits, and drive process improvements.
  • Internal Controls and System Optimization: Ensure effective internal controls, participate in technical accounting research and drive automation in accounting tasks, including supporting new ERP system implementation.
