Facilities Maintenance & Guest Services Supervisor
At Cook’s Branch Management, we’re looking for a leader who can blend technical know‑how with genuine hospitality. As the Facilities Maintenance & Guest Services Supervisor, you will lead facilities operations, supervise guest services staff, and manage contractors to keep our buildings and guest spaces safe, functional, and welcoming. You will balance hands-on repairs, team leadership, and contractor coordination in a dynamic environment where every day is different.
If you’re equal parts problem‑solver, people‑leader, and hands‑on fixer, this role is for you. You will oversee general maintenance and preventative upkeep for more than 20 buildings; perform hands‑on troubleshooting and repairs across systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliances; coordinate and manage outside contractors through bidding, scheduling, quality control, and invoice approval; guide and assist two Guest Services Specialists to ensure accommodations and event spaces meet our standards; be a visible, guest-facing leader who responds to guest maintenance needs with professionalism and urgency; and collaborate with our small, cross-functional team to support field operations and emergency response.
Why You’ll Love Working for Us
We foster a collaborative, hands‑on environment where employees are empowered to contribute ideas, solve problems creatively, and grow alongside the land we steward. Our commitment to your success is supported by competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including:
- Competitive pay of $28 – $34 per hour with seasonal overtime opportunities and potential annual bonus up to one month’s salary
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance available on day one (shared premium cost)
- 401(k) retirement plan with up to 6% employer match
- Employer‑paid life, short‑term, and long‑term disability insurance
- Paid time off: 11 PTO days, 11 statutory holidays, and 10 vacation days to start (increasing with tenure)
- Employer‑supported education, training, and skill‑development opportunities
To succeed, you should have:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent technical training in facilities management, building trades, or property operations, or comparable hands‑on experience
- 3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, property operations, hospitality engineering, or similar environments, including team supervision
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Demonstrated hard skills in general building systems, preventative maintenance, contractor coordination, and use of technology / digital work‑order platforms (e.g., CMMS, MS Excel, SharePoint)
- Valid driver’s license; ability to work on‑site, outdoors, on uneven terrain; bilingual English/Spanish preferred for workforce and contractor communication
As the Facilities Maintenance & Guest Services Supervisor, you will:
- Lead day‑to‑day facilities maintenance operations while minimizing guest disruption in a hospitality‑focused environment
- Manage work orders, inspections, inventory, and preventative maintenance using maintenance management software
- Supervise contractor projects with accountability to timelines, budgets, safety standards, and sustainability goals
- Partner with housekeeping and operations teams to address guest comfort, room readiness, and infrastructure needs
- Support emergency response, severe weather preparation, and periodic grounds or site maintenance as needed, as well as participating in the on-call rotation.
